These are the Ferrari setups I developed for myself and students at the GPLW Driving School The theory behind them is that to get CONSISTENT FEEL from track to track, you really need a standardardised and balanced group of suspension settings with only Cambers, Tyre Pressures, Gear Ratios and Sway Bars varied to suit each track, [Plus ride height at the Ring] In my view this theory works well provided the other settings like Ramps/Clutches/Wheel rates etc form a BALANCED platform to promote good braking, efficient 'turn in' and predictable behaviour from brake and throttle application whilst turning. The attached exports provide a comparison of my best Ferrari times with my best times for all chassis. So you can see that it is possible to drive very quickly as well as consistently with this 'set' of 'Consistent To A Base' setups. For more on my views on setups and setup adjustment, please visit my website http://www.jrpearson.homestead.com/index.html and go to the Driving Instruction Tab. If they work for you, you might like to put up a post with some feedback in Racesim or in my web page Guest Book. Good driving. Jim Pearson. INSTALLATION For those who havent imported setups before, Open your Sierra/gpl/Players/your name[eg Jim_Pearson ]/setups YELLOW FOLDER In that YELLOW FOLDER you will see other yellow folders with short track names FOR ANY TRACK AT WHICH YOU HAVE MADE SETUPS DIFFERENT TO THE DEFAULT, OR IMPPORTED SETUPS BEFORE Copy/Paste or Drag/Drop the yellow folders from the zip into the above setups folder. This will add my setups to your existing track setup folders or create a new one if there wasnt one there. This will not delete any setups you already have UNLESS THEY ARE FERRARI SETUPS CALLED 'JPQ' Select the Ferrari F1 in the game and go to the Setup Screen and you will be able to select my JPQ 'Tuned Base" setup. Have fun and stay on the grey stuff!!
